Greetings and Salutations Dr. Lawton: the purpose of this short video is to, hopefull, give a step to solving the Disorganization, and Fragmented system of current state of the art Neurosurgery education ONLINE for Developing Countries. This program will provide a steady diet of Evidence Based Neurosurgery Education, sorely needed, today.
The program will be using a different approach: Dividing the world, not into Countries, but by LANGUAGES. This will make it easier to administrate, and will sharpen our skilll for promotion, in countries, that may not know about the program. We will start will doing videos in FOUR LANGUAGES: 1) English 2) Spanish 3) French, and 4) Portuguese.
Looking at the Maps, (See www.GlobalNeurosurgery.tv/maps) we can see how coverage in these areas covers significantly, the population of Developing Countries. So that is a starting point.
Administratively, this will simplify greatly, the work load to televise good videos. We can start with just one video per week in each language, and go from there.
Possible sources of content will have a signicantly impactful role is televising what Neurosurgery Programs (https://www.neurosurgical.tv/list-of-accredited-neurosurgery-residency-programs-in-the-usa/ ) NOW televise: Grand Rounds (respecting Privacy/Security), M and M webcasts, etc. A Non-Neurosurgeon can work on this part. And much of the basis of Online webcasting will be coverage of the 15 or 20 of Modules, that most Neurosurgery organizations adhere to.
and any other normallly broadcast webcasts from any of the 110 Neurosurgery programs in the USA. This curation can be done by a Non-Neurosurgeon, but some Medical background.
Neurosurgeons like Mike Lawton and Ali Krisht MD may contribute a Series, like in this case, “Achieving Mastery in Aneurysms”
done a few years back. We will encourage this type of Collaboration with Global Neurosurgery TV, which will undoubtedly increase the more that this concept is accepted.
In summary, we at Global Neurosurgery TV want to position ourselves as a consistent supplier of Evidence Based Education in Neurosurgery, using Organization, and leveraging the increasing proficient video technology, to get ready for the progress of AR, AR, Artificial Intelligence, and to allow the Developing World to benefit of such tech leaps.
